I hate it when action heroes grow old because it makes me feel old. I remember Bruce when he starred in Moonlighting and he had this really cheeky sense of humor and hair. These days Bruce looks not so much punch drunk but movie drunk. He's been there and done it so many times, I just wonder does he get a little bored with saving the world and his leading lady. The movie Red tried really hard to be funny but it just didn't work for me. Even Bruce's leading lady seemed to have a personality implant half-way through the movie and went from being a victim to someone who looked like she was stoned and enjoying having the deadly world of retired spies thrown at her. The movie was all over the place. I dunno. It just didn't work for me. Maybe rent it if there is nothing else. If it's on the telly, it might be worth watching. It's not terrible. It's better than terrible but just a little.
