Top 10 Horror Dates

In a recent incident in Dublin, a group of female accountants were unwittingly placed into a top 10 list. To even things up, several attractive ladies did speed dating on some well know folks and provided their feedback and rankings.

update on sound effects

When I started on the podcast I always wanted sound effects. However, it's difficult at the best of times to find what you are looking for and then you have to pay for it and that's for a podcast which does not earn any money. My brother in law is into music and he pointed me at a site called www.freesound.org which will allow me to add samples. I have found two I like and will hopefully enhance the podcast.

I'll start on next episode this weekend

The next episode will be Doc Stim and Mysterio Spark. I'll start working on it this weekend barring any unexpected distractions. This has two of the characters in the band of hackers who have been referred to a couple of times.

Extract from Engines Under Ursus - Sample Movie

Here is a scene I shot using Xtranormal.

Ok the voice acting is wooden but it's early days for this technology. In the future, I expect most movies will be made this way. I know this is a big statement but I think it'll happen. See for example how I was not able to have Sandra really hand something to Fowler.

They need to add moods, flexi voices where someone can provide a "pattern", more facial expressions, a better tool to have people move around etc; It's non-trivial but if they get the fundamental architecture right it just might work. But I think it's for another generation... or maybe sooner...

Ok so the workflow is create within Xtranormal. I have to pay $2 for the actors and the office. I uploaded the video to YouTube and added annotations.
